Yes — there’s an offline mode. Your changes sync when you reconnect, or on demand.
Is our data safe?
Yes. Data is hosted in the European Union and encrypted at rest and in transit. We are GDPR-aligned and built with European technology for strong data sovereignty.
Do you provide Artificial Intelligence (AI) features?
Yes — AI can help with proofreading, coherence checks and content suggestions for reporting. We use Mistral AI; in local mode, models run on your machine and no project content is sent to external servers.
Can I use Grant Planner for programmes other than Horizon Europe?
For now we support Horizon Europe only; other programmes are planned.
Can I export my reports in useful formats?
Yes — export to PDF for direct upload to the European Commission’s portal, or to DOCX for further editing.
Can I export reports directly to the EU Funding & Tenders Portal?
Not at this time. The European Commission does not allow direct export. Export your report as a PDF and upload it to the portal.
Do I own the intellectual property of the reports produced in Grant Planner?
Yes — you own your reports and project data. We don’t access your content, and it remains encrypted.
Am I locked in? Can I export my content?
No lock-in — export your project data and documents to JSON, CSV, DOCX or PDF and continue in your preferred tools.
Is there an API to access Grant Planner’s content?
Yes — we provide an API. See our API page for details.
